Twitter Stats-Ways To Measure

I love the questions that are offered and answered on Twitter on a daily basis.  I am not here to give you hard facts, this is “how it is” information.  I do take care to share with you things is a very up front manner, it is just my style.

I think we will be learning news ways to measure our effectiveness with social media marketing.  Dynamics and paradigms are changing , so doesn’t it reason that our measurements of effectiveness would be changing as well?

As a Solopreneur :

  • I know my effectiveness likens to how does it affect my bottom line?
  • I know I want to have metrics that tell me who I am talking to and with online?
  • I know I look for how can I connect with my ideal client using these methods?

Feilpe  Coimbra developed a great Twitter application that I use a LOT!  Why, you ask?  Because it allows me to take that pulse of “tweeps” and gives me back measurable results.

For example I loved how Pro Blogger asked: How Old are you? on Twtpoll

TWTPOLL how old are you?

TWTPOLL how old are you?

It was something I had been asking in my head, so thanks Darren Rowse for saying out-loud for us all to hear!

Now, how will you use this information?  I know it will be effective for me sharing with clients and local businesses I speak with about integrating social media into their mix of marketing.

Can you find fault with it?  Sure, I learned a long time ago there will always be folks who want to point out the negative in anything they see.  That is not how I choose to run my business.  We are ever evolving beings as well as ever evolving businesses, so let’s stop making excuses and engage with each other.

Use Twitter to talk “with” people and ask them what they want, look for and how you can serve them.  You will be amazed at the results it drives for you and your business.

Join me every Thursday at 10am EDT for Twitter Today Radio. A tribal connecting place where we bridge our connections on Twitter and build a strong network of contacts.  It is how  we refer business to each other- all over the world.

I love working with solopreneurs and micro-business owners, ask me how I can serve you in being effective with your social media mix for your business.  It always feels better to have someone who knows where you are coming form and walks in your shoes as another solopreneur.  I “get you”!
